Trailblazers competitions in all disciplines can be treated as simply unaffiliated classes – just pay the entry fee in order to compete.

At Trailblazers first round competitions, competitors are awarded a qualification pack towards the second round competitions, if they achieve the following when competing in the different disciplines;-

• DRESSAGE - gain 58% or more
• SHOWJUMPING – gain a double clear
• SHOWING & WORKING HUNTER - placed in the top 4
• COMBINED TRAINING - placed in the top 5

With these qualification packs competitors can, if they wish, purchase a Second Round Qualification Card costing £12, which then allows the competitor to enter as many second round competitions as they wish upon payment of the entry fee to try and achieve National Finals Qualification.

Trailblazers Second Rounds are held by all centres in the disciplines that they have held throughout the year. The second rounds are held from March – June. Qualification at the second rounds enables the successful competitors to compete at the prestigious Spillers® Championships at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire at the end of July.

• Trailblazers allows competitors to compete at the level they wish.
• Trailblazers allows competitors to progress to second rounds National Qualifiers.
• Trailblazers allows competitors the chance to go to a National Final.
