TRAILBLAZERS SHOW JUMPING.
Show jumping is run at the following heights for:-
- Juniors - 65cms 12 and under, 65cms open, 75cms, 85cms, 95cms and 105cms
- Seniors -65cms, 75cms, 85cms, 95cms,1.05m, 110cms & 1.15cms
If acompetitor jumps the 65cms Class they are not eligible to jump the 85cms and above classes competitively on the same day. This applies to the 1st rounds, 2nd rounds and Finals with the same combination. A competitor can jump a different horse/pony on the same day in a higher class.
- PONIES – No currently registered JA's will be permitted to compete at the finals.
- SENIORS – Classes open to horses over 148cms. Therefore equines of 148cms or under are not eligible for the Senior Competition. No currently registered Grade A or B horses may compete at the finals.
- Any rider/horse combination who have represented their country in any British Show jumping competition are not eligible to compete at the Finals.
CLARIFICATION OF HEIGHTS AND AGES.
Junior classes for riders 16 years and under on ponies 148cm and under (must not have attained their 17th birthday by the first day of the National Championships Junior Show Jumping. 65cms 12 years and under (rider must not have attained their 13th birthday by the first day of the National Championships Junior Show Jumping). A junior competitor can enter both the 65cms junior show jumping classes providing they are eligible.
Senior classes for riders 17 years and over on horses over 148cms. Riders 13 years and over may ride horses over 148cms in Senior classes on or after their 13th birthday.
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE SECOND ROUNDS.
At Trailblazers first round show jumping competitions, competitors are awarded a qualification pack towards the second round competitions, if they achieve a double clear in a height class and will entitle that rider and horse/pony to compete in any number of qualifying second rounds at that height class if they have chosen to take up the qualification.
SECOND ROUND SHOW JUMPING.
Every centre can run only one Second Round at each level they have run 1st rounds at over the series, and you need to have qualified at that level to enter. If you have qualified at that level and taken up that Qualification you can choose which centre you wish to go to for your Second Round, it does not have to be the centre you qualified at.
QUALIFICATION AT THE SECOND ROUNDS FOR SPILLERS® NATIONAL SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Riders can qualify a horse or pony for all height classes, but can only qualify a maximum of 4 for any one height. Riders can only jump a pony/horse in 2 Championship classes at the National Championships Show.
Junior Show Jumping - there will 6 competitors to qualify at each level in 2012.
Senior Show Jumping - there will 6 competitors to qualify at each level in 2012.
