QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS

Retraining of Racehorses (RoR), British Horseracing's official charity for the welfare of retired racehorses, is offering dressage, showjumping and combined training classes at The SPILLERS® Trailblazers Championship Finals, 2012.

ELIGIBILITY

Designed for ex racehorses irrespective of any points awarded or money winnings from any other organisation.

Open to RoR Registered horses ridden by Trailblazers members. There is no charge for becoming a Trailblazers Membership. The horse must be registered with RoR and have raced in the UK, for more information http://www.ror.org.uk/
All qualifying competitions are direct qualifiers to the RoR Championships being incorporated into the 2012 Spillers® Trailblazers Championships held at Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire between 20th and 29th July 2012.

Dressage.

RoR qualifiers will be incorporated within South Essex Insurance Brokers Trailblazers Prelim Dressage competitions. The top five RoR members will directly qualify for the National RoR Dressage Championships which is incorporated in the 2012 SPILLERS® Trailblazers Championship Finals. Rosettes will be provided by RoR along with a qualification pack. There are no BD points restrictions on the RoR dressage classes at the Finals, they will be 'open' classes.

Showjumping.

RoR qualifiers will be incorporated with the South Essex Insurance Brokers Trailblazers Senior 75cms competitions. Any RoR members who gain a double clear will directly qualify for the National RoR 75cms Showjumping Championship, which is incorporated in the 2012 SPILLERS® Trailblazers Championship Finals, as well as qualify for the Trailblazers Second Round Senior 75cms Showjumping competitions. Upon qualification for the RoR Showjumping championships, competitors need to ask the centre for their RoR qualification pack.

Combined Training.

RoR qualifiers will be incorporated within the South Essex Insurance Brokers Trailblazers Combined Training (Over 148cms) Prelim dressage with 65cms showjumping class. The top six competitors in the class will qualify for the Trailblazers Combined Training second rounds. The top five RoR members will directly qualify for the National RoR Combined Training class, which is incorporated in the 2012 SPILLERS® Trailblazers Championship Finals, irrespective of being placed in the top six placings of the class. Upon qualifying for the RoR Combined Training class, competitors need to ask the centre for their RoR qualification pack.

Competitors who enter the RoR classes at the Finals can still enter the Trailblazers classes providing they qualify.
