Show Ground Access

All vehicles will access the Show Ground via the Addington Equestrian main entrance MK18 2JR.

Horses requiring stabling must arrive on the showground before 7.00pm. Should any Competitor be delayed, they MUST contact the Stable Manager on 07487 423564.

Stable Manager’s Office is open daily from 7.00am – 7.30pm

Competitor Vehicle Passes

Entry to the show ground is FREE. Competitors do not need vehicle passes and NO passes will be sent to Competitors.

All vehicles will be parked in the designated parking areas.

Show Ground Stabling

There will be a limited number of Permanent Barn Stables (3.5m x 3.5m) available along with Temporary Barn Stables (3m x 3m) on the showground.

Permanent Barn Stables may be guaranteed with an additional £30 payment per stable booked per period. Should permanent stables not be full at the Close of Entries the remaining stables will be balloted. Parking for Permanent Stables will be on Hardstanding.

Stables must be booked on-line. If you wish to increase the number of nights a horse is stabled once the initial stable booking is made, please contact the Show Secretary on 07790 309424 to amend your booking. Lighting is not provided in the stables. Stables are for one horse / pony and may not be transferred to any other horses / ponies.

If you wish to book for a stable for 6 10 nights, please contact the Show Secretary on 07790 309424 or entries@showdirect.co.uk as these cannot be booked online. Please bring your own water and feed buckets, hay nets, feed and mucking out equipment.

Natural Flake Shavings may be purchased on-site from the Stable Managers Office at £8.00 per bale between 8.00am and 7.00pm and not for purchase in advance. For further information on Natural Flake Shavings please visit www.awjenkinson.co.uk.

Straw is not permitted. Any damage caused to stables will be charged to the hirer.

Hay, haylage or horse feed is not available to purchase on-site. Horseboxes / trailers may be parked some distance from the stables and wheelbarrows are recommended.

Stable Deposit

All Competitors will pay a £20 per stable cash deposit upon arrival at the Stable Managers Office prior to being allocated stables. This deposit is fully refundable prior to departure and upon confirmation that the Competitors stable has been emptied of bedding and left tidy. If the stable is not emptied of bedding and left tidy the deposit will not be refunded.

Electric Lorry Hook Up

Electric hook ups for horseboxes in the hardstanding and grass parking areas are available at the following costs:

Competitors must have a 16amp (blue socket) extension cable to connect to the socket supplied by the Organiser. It is the responsibility of the Competitor to ensure that all their cables and electrical equipment complies with current electrical regulations. Competitors must ensure that all electrical items in their horseboxes have a current PAT Certificate.

Whilst the Organiser will endeavour to supply the hook up booked; the Organiser does not guarantee a constant supply throughout the Show, nor to accept any responsibility for losses and / or discomfort occurring as a result of a break in the supply provided. Electrical connection must be booked on-line by Friday 17 July and is on a limited basis. No refunds can be made on cancelled hook up bookings.

No electrical hook up may be sub-let and may only be used by the Competitor who has made the purchase for the period that the Competitor is staying in the Show Ground.

Vaccination Record

All horses and ponies at the Show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse or pony found without a valid certificate will not be permitted to stay at the Championships.

All horses must have been fully vaccinated within the past twelve months before arriving at the event. Horses recently vaccinated must have six clear days after the vaccination before arriving at the Championships.
