Centres - Become an Approved Centre



Trailblazers does not charge centres any affiliation fees, but franchises out its competition concept. Approval is available to all equestrian centres that currently run competitions (including those affiliated to the BSJA and BD) as well as those run as training facilities or riding schools.  Colleges of further education are not eligible.

The Trailblazers concept and its competition structure was created to increase the usage, and therefore potential profitability, of independently run equestrian centres.

What are the costs of becoming a Trailblazers approved centre?

 
There is a one off joining fee and the centres are rewarded for running the competitions.

 

Requirements of a Trailblazers approved centre

 
  • The availability of appropriately sized arenas and warm-up areas.
  • Hard standing for horsebox parking.
  • Catering facilities.
  • Toilet facilities.
  • Fully paid business rates and sufficient insurance cover.
